St. Paul's Lutheran Church and School Concordia, MO — Brand Design

St. Paul's is a Lutheran Church and School located in Concordia, MO. They approached me wanting an updated logo that would signify their community, a spirit of growth. Attention was asked to not focus on the building itself, but rather create something new that the Church could rally under.

The logo begins with a Trinity symbol that is tilted upward. This forms a growing plant with an ichthus—an ancient symbol of the Christian community—at its center, symbolizing a growing community with Christ at its center.

A cross is nestled in the “t” of “St. Paul’s”, confirms the importance of the death, resurrection and symbol of our Christian faith.

A bold font makes a strong foundation for a growing Church. It communicates that St. Paul’s is preaching, teaching and reaching in Concordia MO and around the world.
